Every child is born with value. Every girl carries promise. Yet across the globe, millions of children are robbed of their rights, and countless women and girls continue to be silenced by deeply entrenched systems of inequality, abuse, and neglect.
At Intermissions International Commission, we believe that the defense of children and the promotion of gender equality are not optional causes—they are sacred mandates. Rooted in our faith in Yahuah the Creator, and our commitment to justice and truth, we stand as advocates, educators, and protectors of the most vulnerable members of society.
Our mission is to ensure that every child has the right to survive, grow, and thrive, and that every woman and girl has the freedom to live, lead, and flourish with dignity.
The world often speaks about children in numbers:
But to us, they are not statistics—they are stories. They are sons and daughters, dreamers and dancers, learners and leaders. When a child is neglected, the future is compromised. When a child is empowered, generations are transformed.
Gender Equality: More Than a Right—A Revelation
In cultures where gender roles are rigidly imposed and women’s worth is tied to silence; gender inequality is not only harmful—it is deadly. It leads to:
Intermissions believes that every girl and woman is born with God-given identity, authority, and purpose. We reject every system—spiritual or societal—that diminishes her voice, devalues her worth, or denies her destiny.
“There is neither male nor female, for you are all one in Messiah Yahusha.” — Galatians 3:28
What We Do to Defend Children and Elevate Women
We provide educational resources and conduct awareness campaigns on children’s rights, gender equality, and the prevention of abuse. Our public forums, workshops, and school programs promote understanding, dialogue, and change.
We establish and support child-friendly spaces and women’s safe shelters, especially in areas affected by poverty, war, or displacement. These sanctuaries offer physical protection, counseling, spiritual care, and restoration.
In partnership with local authorities and human rights networks, we work to rescue children from forced labor and exploitation and reintegrate them into families and schools. Survivors of gender-based violence receive comprehensive trauma care and long-term empowerment support.
From vocational training to spiritual mentorship, we invest in the capacity and confidence of women and girls to lead. Our programs nurture leadership, literacy, health awareness, and economic independence.
We challenge unjust laws and harmful traditions with the truth of Scripture and the power of evidence. We collaborate with governments and community leaders to develop policies that safeguard children and foster gender equity.
Why It Matters to Us
Yahusha welcomed children. He honored women. He entrusted His resurrection message to a woman. He healed the broken and restored the abused. We follow His example.
Defending children and elevating women is not about Western ideals or political trends—it’s about living the Gospel. It’s about ensuring that every image-bearer of Yahuah is treated with the dignity they deserve.
